Datanlí is produced by 4 different producers from Datanlí, a small town inside the municipality of Jinotega. Its name comes from the mountains that form part of the nature reserve Cerro Datanlí - the region is one of the richest and most diverse ecosystems in Jinotega, and the word Datanlí - ‘where the water falls’, refers to the water which originates at the top of the mountains and flows all the way down to the farms of coffee growers below, aiding them in producing this outstanding coffee. In the cup, we’re tasting lime, brown sugar and starfruit.Region: Jinotaga, Nicaragua
Process: Traditional Fully Washed, 14-24 fermentation in cement tanks
