The Tega & Tula Specialty Coffee Farm, named after the two villages it straddles, is located in the heart of the Kaffa (or ‘Keffa’) Zone, in the southwestern part of Ethiopia. The farm was established in 2000, and has since become an important part of the community - employing as many as 400 workers during peak harvest time. It has a clinic with employed nurses, and an elementary school under construction. 

This coffee is from a region new to us, but Tega & Tula has overseen a great deal of investment in its inhouse processing and washing facilities, and the result is a highly graded coffee with organic certification (NOP). We are tasting zesty lime and cocoa in this silky-bodied coffee, finishing in a floral and pleasant after-taste.
